Description:
The objective of this project is to introduce electric powered campsites at Dollar Lake Provincial Park Loop C & Loop D through a design build process. This initiative aligns with our commitment to providing modern amenities while ensuring responsible and eco-friendly camping practices. The scope of work will include developing a detailed electrical design and the installation of powered sites within Dollar Lake Provincial Park Loops C & D. The design and construction must be compliant with Canadian Electrical Codes, safety standards, and provincial regulations. The design will need to be stamped by a professional electrical engineer licensed to work in Nova Scotia and approved prior to starting construction. The design will consist of conceptual drawings and final design drawing package. The final package will include PDF and Cad files. The design and construction are for 32 electric sites in Loop C and 8 Sites in Loop D. All sites to be serviced with a 30amp and 20amp service. The service is brought into each campsite with buried conduit, a service pedestal made of wood and an electrical box. Included in the tender documents is an example of a 10x10 water and power post and electrical box drawings. Responsibilities of the Design Build Contractor include but are not limited to: design drawings, construction drawings and specifications, logistics, subcontracting, construction, and construction management for the 40 electric sites at Dollar Lake Provincial Park.
