- The Corporation of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc (The Municipality) is accepting proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms (The Consultant) to provide professional services for pre-engineering field investigations, engineering preliminary design, detail design, construction cost estimate, and contract administration cost estimate related to C10 Glen Oak Road Structure Replacement.
The objective is to have the project designed and posted on Bids and Tenders for construction no later than June 18, 2026 and construction completed by October 30, 2026.
Proposals shall be submitted with two separate documents with the first document labelled Technical and the second document labelled Financial. Proposals received with technical and financial combined in one document will not be accepted.
Consultants must hold their financial submission firm for a period of ninety (90) days. The recommendation of the successful Consultant will be presented to Council, and upon budget approval, and an agreement will be issued to the selected bidder.
INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS a. Proposals shall be submitted with two separate documents. The first document labelled Technical and the second document labelled Financial. Proposals will be evaluated using the two-document method. Proposals received with technical and financial combined in one document will not be accepted.
b. Each bid shall contain the full name of the party or parties bidding and the signature of the parties bidding shall be in their respective handwriting.
c. A bidder may withdraw a submitted proposal at any time up to the official closing time contacting bides and tenders.
d. A bidder who has already submitted a proposal may submit a further proposal at any time up to the official closing time. The last proposal received shall supersede and invalidate all proposals previously submitted by that bidder as it applies to this request for proposal.
