Automatic Identification Technology (AIT): Fuel Monitoring (FM) Stream - Bulk Fuel Tanks DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The scope of this requirement is to support the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), through the Delivery and installation of sensors for Bulk Fuel Tanks (BFT) at 101 sites across Canada. The Fuel monitoring stream also includes the Acquisition and configuration of an Enterprise Middleware solution that will subsequently be delivered as a cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), connected through the Electronic Data Environment (EDE) to send data into the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS). This Request for Proposal is solely for the purpose of soliciting bids for the delivery and installation of sensors for Bulk Fuel Tanks. The acquisition of the Enterprise Middleware Software-as-a-Service will be sought through a separate solicitation. PERIOD OF CONTRACT Three (3) years plus two (2) one (1) year irrevocable options. MANDATORY SITE VISIT For the for the work detailed in Annex A - Statement of Work, it is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than September 19, 2024 by 16:00 PM EDT to confirm attendance. Amendment 006 is issues to publish Questions and Answer, modify the Bid Solicitation.
