Description:
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to invite Proponents to prepare and submit Proposals to design, fabricate and install a secondary school addition (the "Project" or the “Facility”) which would be built using prefabricated construction under a Progressive Design-Build agreement (the "Design-Build Agreement"). School District 60 (“the District”) is using a two phased approach to a progressive design build model for this competitive bid. Phase One (Design Phase) includes the completion of schematic and design documents, performance specifications, all related documents required to complete the Owner-s Statement of Requirements (OSR) for all noted construction works, and preliminary construction documents complete with building permit ready drawings. Phase Two (Build Phase) will be initiated upon acceptance of the OSR and building permit ready drawings, at the discretion of the District, and includes the execution of a CCDC14 Design-Build contract as per the approved OSR within a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The Phase Two Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, submitting building permit applications, finalizing construction documents, site preparation, fabrication of modularunits, delivery, site assembly, all connections as required and all other fabrication and site execution requirements to complete the scope of work
