Description:
The Business Risk Management Branch is seeking qualified proponents interested in conducting the following audit work: (i) To provide the Business Risk Management Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food with a five-year block of Financial Statement Audits for Fiscal Years ending March 31, 2026, through to March 31, 2030, for each of the following programs: Production Insurance, Wildlife Damage Compensation, Western Livestock Price Insurance, and AgriStability. All audit work will be in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards. (ii) To provide a report in writing to the Director, Business Risk Management Branch, Ministry of Agriculture and Food on any significant weaknesses in internal controls which have come to the attention of the Proponent as a result of the audit. All reporting will meet the audit requirements of Annex A, Section 108 and Annex B, Section 16 of the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, the AgriStability Program Guidelines, as well as the Production Insurance Operational Document. The Ministry is required to submit audited statements to Canada within eight months of the end of each fiscal year.
