Description:
The goal of this project is to collaborate with the Calgary urban Indigenous community to develop the Indigenous Energy Equity Pilot ("the Pilot"). The City is looking to hire a qualified consulting firm to lead and facilitate the engagement and co-creation process that will be the foundation for thePilot. The City has preference for a consulting firm with Indigenous background (such as Indigenous-owned (preferred) or Indigenous employees) and expertise. The engagement process will discuss the challenges and needs, identify necessary supports, define the application process, and establish successcriteria. The engagement should include urban Indigenous community members experiencing Energy Inequity and Indigenous Elders to ensure the program is tailored to their unique needs and promotes Energy Equity and sustainability for urban Indigenous Calgarians. The scope of services of the Consultantincludes, but may not be limited to, the following anticipated requirements: 1. Engagement approach; 2. Engagement planning and logistics; 3. Engagement implementation; 4. Theming and reporting; and 5. ProjectManagement.
