Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Red Deer County to prospective proponents to submit proposals for an ERP - Financial System Modernization Solution, implementation services, and ongoing support.
Red Deer County is seeking to replace its aging financial system, which is nearing end-of-life, with a modern, scalable solution that serves as a core business application for finance. This new system is expected to enhance functionality, ensure business continuity, and meet the County's operational and organizational needs.
With a population of nearly 20,000, spanning over 4,000 km², and supported by a workforce of 128 employees, the County delivers a full range of municipal services. Its 2024 annual budget includes $66 million in operating funds and $45 million in capital funds. To support growth and improve service delivery, the County requires an updated financial system capable of meeting its current and future needs.
The desired solution will be cloud-based and fulfill core financial requirements with minimal customization. Where applicable, department-level systems will be integrated into the new financial system to maximize usability, enhance analytical capabilities, improve customer service, and eliminate redundancies.
