Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Operational Fuel Management - Town of Ladysmith, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The CVRD is seeking a qualified contractor to provide fuel abatement treatments in the lower Holland Creek system which occupies approximately 60ha within the SW portion of the Town of Ladysmith. The Holland Creek trail has close proximity to residences, high usage throughout the year, and juxtaposition with Critical Infrastructure. Treatment will reduce wildfire behavior and improve firefighting opportunities.
