- The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
The scope of work for this RFP includes the installation of a dry pond and storm sewer system that will separate the storm runoff flows from the existing combined sewer system and provide a connection to thedry pond. The Work mainly involves earthwork and landscaping for dry pond construction, and open cut and trenchless sewer construction with new piping, manholes and catch basins installed under theroadways on 127 Avenue between 113A Street and 101 Street and 130 Avenue between 107 and 109 Street. Some catch basin upgrades are identified on 103 Street and 104 Street between 127 Avenue and130 Avenue. The abandonment of a 1,200 mm combined sewer crossing underneath the CN Rail yard located south of 127 Avenue along 101 Street is also included. Two low impact development (“LID”) sitesare also included; one on 109 Street between 127 Avenue and 129 Avenue and the other along the pathway between 102 Street and 101 Street north of 127 Avenue. The Work Site will be restored followingconstruction including landscaping, road structure and concrete curb and gutter.
