- The intent of this RFP is to find Successful Proponent(s) capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
EPCOR intends to prequalify general contractors for construction services for a term of three (3) years with EPCOR having the option to extend the initial term for up to two (2) successive one (1) year terms, in EPCOR-s sole discretion. EPCOR, at its discretion, will confirm actual start and end dates for the Work upon finalizing the Contract. EPCOR intends to award up to five (5) Contracts for Inside the Fence (ITF) work and up to ten (10) Contracts for Outside the Fence (OTF) work, subject to evaluation of proposals and the requirements of the work categories
The number and scope of project requests awarded under the Contracts will vary from year to year based on budget availability and system requirements. Project Requests will be issued as needed throughout the term of the Contract; however, as required EPCOR may also solicit bids via public request for proposals as well as by utilizing an alternative procurement delivery model outlines in Appendix 1 of this RFP.
The scope of work required for each individual Project Request can vary dramatically in size, duration and complexity. Further details regarding the types of work that EPCOR will require to be performed under the Contracts are listed in Appendix 2 - Attachment 1.
Neither the provision of this RFP to a Proponent nor acceptance or receipt of a Reply by EPCOR will imply any obligation or commitment on the part of EPCOR to enter into a contract of any kind in respect of the Work or in respect of any or all of the contents of this RFP.
Notwithstanding that Proponents may participate in this RFP process to enter into Contract for the Work, EPCOR reserves the right to enter into contracts for the Work with contractors that are not Proponents at any time either on a competitive or single source basi... - Documents:
