- Town of Antigonish invites proposals from qualified contractors for the supply and installation of an insertion valve on the 12-inch ductile iron water main on Hawthorne Street. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing the valve and all specialized installation tooling, and for performing the installation, testing, and commissioning in accordance with manufacturer specifications and AWWA standards. All work must be completed before December 15, 2025. The town reserves the fight to accept or reject any submission and is not obliged to accept the lowest bid. Proposals will be evaluated on technical merit, methodology, experience and price.
