Description:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select one (1) qualified Proponent to enter into Contract (Appendix A) with the Providence Health Care (“PHC”) to upgrade the Mount Saint Joseph Hospital-s (“MSJ”) existing fire alarm system by replacing outdated fire alarm detectors, pull stations, annunciators, I/O modules and signaling devices with the existing manufacturer-s latest addressable devices (the “Project”). The Project also reconfigures the fire alarm control panels network system to incorporate a new operator interface computer terminal. MSJ is located at 3080 Prince Edward Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.

The scope of work and responsibilities are defined in section 1. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence February 5, 2024, and Substantial Performance of the Work is by August 16, 2024.

All Proponents found to meet all minimum score requirements under section B2.2 and satisfactory references under section B2.4 will be added to the List of Qualified Suppliers for Fire Alarms for Clinical Space and/or Non-Clinical Space projects (“List of Qualified Suppliers”). The List of Qualified Suppliers will be used by PHC until January 31, 2025, from the date Proponents are notified of award.
