The Ministry of Citizens' Services - Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) is requesting information from interested parties for the replacement ("Solution") of the existing BC Auction application (https://www.bcauction.ca).
The Province preference is for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Solution within a software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model that will require minimal configuration or customization. However, the Province is open to alternate Solution options, such as on-premise or plugins to established e-commerce platforms.
The COTS Solution could be configured (through API's) and provide ongoing maintenance, support, and security.
This RFI is intended to gather information that could assist the Province in the development of a future procurement process. In the event that sufficient information is received, the Ministry may, but is not obligated to, initiate a competitive bidding opportunity.
