Description : Call For Request for Information (RFI) Solicitation No. RFI-2020-STNS-064 Secure Bike Parking Access Control System Metrolinx is planning to introduce Secure Bike Parking Facilities around the network as an amenity for customers in order to support GO Expansion and grow ridership. To support the introduction of new Secure Bike Parking Facilities, Metrolinx is seeking information about potential access control systems and approaches. The access control system should support a seamless customer experience in order to drive positive customer satisfaction while providing additional security for customer bicycles. The solution may address the following: Hardware and software to manage customer access Method of customer authentication (fob, mobile app, key card, utilization of other systems or smartcards, etc.) Customer registration system, payment system, and/or capability to integrate with other Metrolinx or Third-Party registration systems.
