South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority ("TransLink") is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver. TransLink's operating companies include Coast Mountain Bus Company Ltd. (CMBC), British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC) and West Coast Express Ltd. Project Summary:
The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority ("TransLink") anticipates proceeding with the Brentwood SkyTrain Station Upgrade (the "Project"). The scope of the Project consists of expansion and improvements to the existing facilities at Brentwood SkyTrain Station (the "Station") located at 4533 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby, to increase the passenger capacity, update the public and crew areas (collectively the "Work").
TransLink intends to gauge interest from the marketplace and to pre-qualify General Contractors for Brentwood SkyTrain Station Upgrades as applicable that will become the "Pre-Qualified List" to potentially participate in the selection processes for one or more contracts. TransLink may also seek information from the Pre-Qualified List for TransLink's use in finalizing future solicitations processes related to this Project.
