The Town of Oakville (the town) invites proposals for services described as:
The Town of Oakville seeks a qualified vendor to complete its annual residential street and park tree planting program. The scope of work includes all labour, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and services necessary for, and incidental to performing all operations in connection with furnishing, delivery, and installation of trees and additional materials specified herein.
The scope of work in this section includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Source, purchase, deliver and install all specified plant and other materials.
2. Water all specified plant material.
3. Mulch, fertilize, stake, and prune all specified plant material.
4. Warranty on plant material trees and performed work.
5. Clean-up and disposal of all excess and surplus material.
Note: A 10% Bid Bond and Agreement to Bond for a 50% Multi-Year/Renewable Labor & Materials Bond and a 50% Multi-Year/Renewable Performance Bond are requirements of this Tender.
Award of this RFP is pending 2025 Budget Approval anticipated to occur in December 2024. Should budget not be approved the Town of Oakville reserves the right to cancel this RFT without penalty.
