Description:
The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a Residential Home Modification Project 731 9894 in Airdrie, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings contained in this IFB. The project will consist of the following tasks: 1. Asbestos abatement required due to asbestos in the gypsum board compoundas per Hazmat report, prior to any demolition or modifications to the immediate affected areas. 2. Supply and installation of all material and systems described in specifications and drawings for a 11 square metre addition and interior modifications to the existing 90 square metre two storey houseincluding a single attached garage with a partial basement as indicated on drawings for barrier free accessibility. 3. Remove existing brick veneer and components for reinstallation as noted on the drawings. 4. Remove existing exterior walls as noted on the drawings, construct additions and new exteriorwalls as noted on the drawings 5. Construct new north covered porch, wood stairs and ramp as noted on the drawings 6. Modify the basement and main floor to second floor wooden stairs and provide two new stair lifts as noted on the drawings and in the specifications. 7. Remove and replace existing twoexterior entrance doors with a wider 915 mm units. Removal and reinstall one exterior door. Install new door to detached garage as noted. 8.
