Tender are invited for Residential Co-Mingled Recycling and Food and Yard Waste Collection Services

Synopsis: The City seeks proposals in response to this RFP from entities qualified and experienced with Co-Mingled Recycling Collection Program, Food and Yard Waste Collection Program with Green Cart Deployment to approximately 67,000 residences (Designated Properties) according to the following. Collecting, transporting, and delivery of Recyclable Materials (Blue Cart) to the City-s material recovery facility. Collecting, transporting, and delivery of Food and Yard Waste Materials (Green Cart) to the City-s contracted Food and Yard Waste processing facility or temporary transfer station. Deployment of Green Carts, Kitchen Catchers, and Food and Yard Waste Pamphlets (Deployment) to all Designated Properties. The successful proponent will work collaboratively with the City to continuously improve the efficiency of the City-s food and yard waste and recycling collection operations, increase the amount of material being diverted from landfills, enhance the overall cost effectiveness of the City-s food and yard waste and recycling programs, promote the City-s environmental goals, and enhance community awareness of the importance of diverting organic and recyclable material from the landfill.
