- Description:
- Contractor to supply a 2002 (or newer) Gradall with 60" ditching bucket for earth ditching and drainage improvements. Operator to be included.Tenders should be based on approximately 450 hours of operation. The Municipality will not guarantee the projected hours of work. Hours of work will be limited to 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. No ditching will be accepted after dark or on weekends, unless otherwise approved.Hours of work shall be submitted to the Supervisor of Public Works at the end of each week.Productivity (including equipment reliability) will be evaluated weekly based on hours submitted compared to meters ditched.Travel time, fuel surcharge, cost of cutting edges, float moves, etc. shall all be included in your cost per hour.Records of training and experience are required for all operators.Bids will be assessed on several factors, including but not limited to: price, recent experience, equipment, and safety records including CVOR.The proposed tender is for a three-year period. However, the Municipality reserves the right to reduce the term of the contract at its sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to poor performance, low quality workmanship and/or low productivity.
