Description:
This Request for Standing Offers (the “RFSO”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains (the “Town”) to prospective Respondents to submit responses for Standing Offers for Engineering Support Services, as further described in Section A of the RFSO Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The Town is seeking to retain the services of consulting firms for engineering assignments on an “as and when requested” basis under a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA). The Town will list those firms that best meet the qualifications in each of the specialized disciplines or categories outlined in the Request for Standing Offers (RFSO). Only those firms submitting a response to this RFSO will have the opportunity to be listed. The Town will review consultants- qualifications and select firms using the criteria described in the RFSO. Selection of a Consulting firm does not provide any guarantee of assignments.
The Town-s goal of implementing the Engineering Support Services SOA is to shorten project cycle times, decrease project costs and provide “best-fit” matching flexibility for engineering assignments while complying with the provisions of the Town-s purchasing and procurement policies.
