Description : The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (the “RDKB”) invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Suppliers for the provision of Bin Liner Food Waste Bags and Tote Liner Food Waste Bags (Goods). The bags will be initially provided to residents as part of an “educational materials” package as an example methodology for reducing the “yuck” factor in the use of organic curbside collection bins and kitchen catcher (tote) containers. 100% Compostable paper bag liners will only be accepted. Plastic compostable bags, plastic biodegradable liners, or paper bags with a plastic liner will not be accepted. Bags must be available for purchase at local retail outlets in the McKelvey Creek Wasteshed area which includes the municipalities of Rossland, Warfield, Trail, Montrose and Fruitvale as well as Electoral Areas ‘A’, ‘B’/Lower-Columbia/Old Glory.
