Description:
To carry out Repairs to the existing Gateway Breezeway Canopy. Demolish and dispose. Remove section of damaged glulam as drawing Ref Chalten Engineering S011, Rev B allow to remove beams BE1 and BE2. (2-6 ¾” x 36” Glulam ) Remove all the existing BE1 stone and blockwork column back to ground level. Remove all stone cladding from the remaining 12 supporting columns back to face blockwork and prep for Cement Parging. Install Supply and install new beam and post as per Chalten Engineering S011 Rev B (8 1/2" X 24" GLULAM) Post (8X8 D FIR ) plus Quad lock.( detail No 3 ) Apply Cement parging and waterproofing coating to all the supporting columns including all wall preparation and installation of External Render Beads were required. Allow P01 and P09 to be covered with heavy Duty Metal flashing ( Install new 22-gauge cap flashing) colour to be confirmed later. Cut back the existing roofing package to beams P01 and P09 allowing for new roofing- curb and flashing. Remove and reinstate existing 3” and 2” downspouts on PO3. After the stone cladding has been removed at the base of the 12 supporting columns allow for an in-place pour of concrete frame at the base to match existing FFL. Allow pressure to wash prep and paint all the remaining woodwork colour to be confirmed later by the client. Optional Site Meeting: 15:00 (3:00pm), Nov Thursday 13th, 2025.
