Description:
The City of Saskatoon is seeking to prequalify contractors for the Design Build phase of the BRT Shelter Project.
The City of Saskatoon is procuring a design-builder for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Shelter Project. This initiative involves the design and construction of approximately 88 to 100 BRT shelters, which will be procured through a Design-Build (DB) contract. The shelters will incorporate architectural, electrical, and IT components, meeting the City-s standards for durability, safety, and functionality. This project is a critical component of the overall BRT system, aimed at enhancing public transportation across Saskatoon.
The City will procure a Design-builder responsible for the design, supply, installation, and integration of the BRT shelters, following a two-stage procurement process: the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the Request for Proposal (RFP). This contract will cover all aspects of shelter design, supply and installation, ensuring the shelters are fully operational and aligned with City standards.
