Tender are invited for REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION- GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES
Project Description : Olds College is seeking a General Contractor(s) for two modernization projects within their main campus. Information for each individual project is as follows. These are two (2) separate projects and must be considered as that. The successful proponent after the tender may not be involved with both projects. The projects require different expertise and therefore qualifications must match the application.Animal Health ServicesThis project includes renovations and additions to the Animal Health Sciences building which comprises of the Animal Health Technology (AHT) and Animal Sciences/National Meat Training Centre (AS) buildings at Olds College. The original building was built circa 1969 comprising of lecture theatres, lab spaces, surgical suites, animal holding rooms and administrative office spaces. A new expansion to the building will include new gathering spaces, meat processing center and service rooms. The existing building will be reconfigured to include offices, student lounge, laboratory space, surgical suites, holding cells and a courtyard.Agriculture Technology HubThe James Murray Building has been designated as the host site for the Agriculture Technology Hub. It was built in 1961 and has several additions including in 2000 and 2003. Its current footprint is approximately 3,338 m2 and it is directly connected to the Robert Turner Building.
