- This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Sterile Compounding Services and Products as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B - Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D). The purpose of this competitive process is to establish an Agreement between one or more Selected Proponent(s) and the Service Delivery Organizations of Manitoba to provide the products and services as outlined in this competitive document. Proponent(s) will have the ability to subcontract product and/or services if required should the Proponent(s) and the Service Delivery Organizations mutually agree. It is the intent for Shared Health to enter into an Agreement with one (1) or more Proponents who will undertake to provide the services and products as identified in this RFP. It is the intent of Shared Health to enter into an Agreement with one or more suppliers at their discretion for the period of three (3) years with two (2) additional one year option terms. Shared Health of Manitoba will have the ability to add new products to the awarded proponent at their discretion and remove products based on changes in clinical practice.
