Description : Shared Health is accepting proposals for the provision of Patient Physiologic Monitors across all provincial Service Delivery Organizations (SDOs) including, Shared Health, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Prairie Mountain Health Authority, Southern Regional Health Authority, Northern Regional Health Authority and Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority. Purchases will include Bedside, Transport, Telemetry and Central Monitoring within seven specialty care areas: Diagnostic Services, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgery, ICU/CCU/SCU, Emergency, and Obstetrics. The patient monitoring system shall provide continuous real-time monitoring of a wide range of physiologic parameters for the patient. Continuous monitoring is a valuable tool that helps provide additional information to the medical and nursing staff about the physiologic condition of the patient that helps them make appropriate treatment decisions. The monitoring system shall also be capable of providing historic information such as trending and alarm review data. This RFP will also set the standard for future purchases of Patient Physiologic Monitors provincially.
