Tender are invited for Request for Proposals for Performance Arena Chiller Replacement
Project Description : In 2015, the ice plant, which was nearing end of its lifecycle was replaced. In August 2020, emergency repairs were undertaken on the arena-s ice plant chiller. The City requires a qualified contractor for the removal and disposal of the existing shell and tube chiller and for the installation of a new titanium plate and frame ammonia to brine chiller.Mandatory Site VisitEach proponent MUST attend the mandatory site visit at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 to familiarize themselves with the scope of work and conduct their own field measurements. COVID-19 measures are in place. Proponents are not to attend the site meeting if:• they are feeling unwell• are experiencing flu like symptoms• have experienced any flu like symptoms in the past 10 days• have recently travelled outside of Canada / returned to Canada in the past 14 days• are awaiting COVID test results• have been directed to self-isolate or quarantineProponents will be required to sign in and provide contact information. • prescreening is required• hand sanitizer stations are available at building entrances• distancing of 2m is to be respected at all time during the site visit• proponents attending the site visit are required to supply and wear the following:o Protective gloveso Face covering / masks• limited access (at a time) to the ice plantLocation: Leduc Recreation Centre4330 Black Gold D...
