This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Cowichan Tribes to prospective proponents to submit proposals for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
Cowichan Tribes is a First Nation band in British Columbia, with over 5,500 members. They are part of the Coast Salish peoples and speak the Hul'q'umi'num language. Cowichan Tribes are located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, with their main reserve near Duncan, BC.
Historically, the Cowichan people have lived in their territory for thousands of years, with archaeological evidence dating back 4,500 years. They have a rich cultural heritage, maintaining many traditional practices and customs while evolving into a modern society.
Cowichan Tribes are involved in various activities to support their community, including education, health services, economic development, and cultural preservation.
