Tender are invited for Request For Proposals for the Design-Build development of an Asphalt Pump Track
Project Description : The purpose of this Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is to detail the requirements of the Pump Track and to evaluate the Proponents- ability to deliver a fixed price, Design-Build construction service consistent with the Town-s overall objectives and priorities for the project. The Proponentawarded the work will be asked to sign a CCDC 14 contract as well as Supplementary General Conditions, the Town of Banff Contractor signoff &Orientation package as well as the Contractor Environmental Responsibilitiesin Appendix A.TheProponent-s turnkey scope including design, construction, a 2-year warrantyand maintenance shall be no more than $225,000.The principal goals of the projects are:1. To complete the project on time, and on budget• The Proponent-s turnkey scope shall be no more than $225,000 which is in line with the current budget earmarked for this project.2. To build a premiere nature-oriented Pump Track in Western Canada3. To maximize the number of ride lines while minimizing the impacts to the forest floor and trees to remain on site4. A Pump Track that meets all applicable safety requirements and industry best-practice standards5. To serve the community of Banff while attracting visitors alike.6.
