Description:
The Ministry of Attorney General, BC Sheriff Service (BCSS) invites interested parties to submit a Proposal for Air Transportation Services.

The BCSS is responsible for the transportation of prisoners throughout British Columbia. The BCSS is seeking a Proponent to provide Air Transportation Services, including the provision of an aircraft, flight crew and aviation equipment, to transport prisoners and BCSS personnel from the Abbotsford International Airport to the Nanaimo Airport, the Victoria International Airport, the Alberni Valley Regional Airport (Port Alberni), and the Comox Airport. The Contractor will also be required to make a Stopover Flight when required. All flights will begin and end at the Abbotsford International Airport.

The Province intends to enter a Contract with the highest scoring Proponent. The initial term of the Contract will be for one year. The Province may, at its sole discretion, extend the term of the Contract for up to three additional one-year periods.

The Contractor will be required to be provide Air Transportation Services between Monday to Friday. The Contractor may occasionally be asked whether they can provide the Air Transportation Services on weekends and holidays, as needed. The BCSS may request additional flights on an as and when requested basis to any of the Approved Destinations.
