Description:
The Guysborough District Business Partnership (GDBP) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals or firms for the development of tourism marketing assets. This project aims to enhance the promotion of the region through creative video & photography content, tourism brochures and social media materials. The Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) is a coastal gem on Nova Scotia-s Eastern Shore, rich in history, natural beauty, and a deep-rooted connection to the sea. With a rugged and picturesque coastline, MODG has long been shaped by the fishing industry where generations of fishers have made their livelihoods and this tradition remains a vital part of the community. Forestry and farming also have played a significant role in both our past and present. Beyond its maritime heritage, MODG is home to a diverse cultural fabric, including vibrant French Acadian and African Nova Scotian communities whose histories, traditions, and contributions have shaped the region-s identity. From storytelling and music to food and community gatherings, this rich cultural heritage adds depth and character to our area and makes us unique.
