Project Overview the Town of Mattawa (Mattawa) Has Recently Received Notification of Funding Approval Under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program Rural & Northern Communities Funding Stream Icip Case No. 2019-04-1320420947 in the Amount of $4,160,000 for the Reconstruction of the Dorion Road Hill (Including All Engineering and Technical Support) from the Intersection of Highway 17 Southerly Approximately 410 Meters. the Project Scope of Work will Include: 1. Construction of a Slip Around Lane on Highway 17. 2. Improve Dorion Road Northbound Approach to Highway 17 to Comply with Mto Design Standards. 3. Reduce the Grade of Dorion Road Hill from Approximately 12% to Approximately 8% to Provide for More Acceptable Grade for Vehicular Traffic Including Truck Traffic that will Serve the Mattawa Light Industrial Park Currently Under Construction. 4. Widen Road Platform and Improve Drainage. 5. Realign Currently Deficient Curve at the Top of Dorion Road Hill. 6. Replace Bell Poles Recently Installed Along East Limit of Right of Way (If Necessary). 7. Provide Street Lighting. Prospective Bidders Must Familiarize Themselves with All Aspects of the Work Needed to Respond to This Request for Proposal. Further Information Regarding the Scope of Work and Project Location is Contained in This Terms of Reference. the Proponent Shall be Registered and Licensed in the Province of Ontario, be Available on Demand and Ensure that the Project is Completed in Accordance with the Approved Scope of Work; Within the Approved Schedule and Budget.
