Description:
The Township is looking for proposals for the replacement of the Glenmount Dock. The dock is located on Glenmount Road in Baysville. Currently there is a large crib dock with piles in the location with a gazebo type structure on the dock. This dock system is a high use dock while the sailing club is in operation. There can be boats secured to the dock for its entirety of length on both sides. The Township will accept proposals for a replacement of either the same type of structure or a comparable replacement. Should a floating dock be proposed the flotation supports must be 24" welded pontoons. The proponent will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the dock. Including but not limited to the anchoring system, ramps, landings and security of the site while the dock is being constructed. The proposal must include the removal and disposal of the old system and if necessary, bringing the cribs to below the water line as to not disturb any natural habitats. The Township will work with the successful proponent to acquire the proper permits if required.
