Suppliers are invited to submit Proposals for the provision of Managed IT Services in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this RFP. Suppliers are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this RFP. Failure to satisfy any term, condition or mandatory requirement of this RFP may result in rejection of the Proposal. Silvera for Seniors (“Silvera”) provides affordable housing and support services to low and modest-income seniors in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Silvera is a Housing Management Body and registered charity that was officially chartered as a foundation under the Seniors Citizens- Housing Act by the Alberta Government in 1962. The mandate then and now is to provide safe, affordable housing and services for seniors through a range of independent and supportive living options in Calgary. Silvera serves approximately 1,800 seniors in both independent and supportive living environments. Approximately 900 reside in townhouse and apartment style housing options throughout the city who pay rent geared to their income. Approximately 900 reside in supported living lodges that provide seniors with food service, housekeeping, recreation, and 24-hour non- medical monitoring. 80% of our lodge residents are eligible for government rent support.
