Description:
The Township is committed to being fiscally responsible. A major ongoing expense for the municipality is its insurance coverage which has been steadily increasing. For several years, the Township has maintained its insurance portfolio with the same provider thus benefitting from continuity. To ensure taxpayer dollars are managed in a prudent manner, we are re-evaluating our insurance contracts to ensure they remain cost effective and competitive, while at the same time providing adequate coverage to safeguard the Township and its residents in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Through this RFP, the Township seeks to:
Specify the terms and conditions that would govern any resulting policy; and,
Select the successful proponent, if any.
This RFP states the instructions for submitting proposals, and the procedures and criteria by which the successful proponent will be selected.
