The primary objective of this RFP call is to engage in a competitive selection process for
the services of an entity/individual(s) (Proponent) who will support strategic direction,
leadership, accountability and execution of the NBM Development Office functions
including fundraising for the capital campaign.

The New Brunswick Museum is moving forward with its facilities renewal project at its
current Douglas Avenue, Saint John location. A revitalized New Brunswick Museum
will:

# Improve the experience of New Brunswickers and visitors by providing an
accessible and adaptable exhibition center that will tell our stories in a more
engaging and inclusive way.
# Provide a sense of community and place by celebrating New Brunswickers'
collective heritage.
# Promote tourism with enriching heritage experiences that appeal to a wide and
diverse audience.
# Better serve the collection with a modern preservation and research facility
that will bring together researchers and experts from around the world.
