Manitoba Public Insurance, Request for Proposal #3438 Whistleblower Reporting MechanismManitoba Public Insurance is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors to provide and maintain an anonymous and confidential mechanism to receive, retain and facilitate communication respecting disclosures of Wrongdoing.PIDA requires MPI to establish policies to manage disclosures of Wrongdoing by its employees, which must include procedures: for receiving and reviewing disclosures, including setting time periods for action; for investigating disclosures in accordance with principles of procedural fairness and natural justice; respecting the confidentiality of information collected in relation to disclosures and investigations; for protecting the identity of persons involved in the disclosure process, subject to any other Act and to the principles of procedural fairness and natural justice; and for reporting the outcomes of investigations.While the precise number can vary, MPI typically receives less than five (5) disclosures of Wrongdoing from whistleblowers annually, as more fully described in the RFP document. The final date for submissions is March 23, 2026. Other dates of significance are contained within the body of the RFP.
