- The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is seeking proposals from qualified Information Technology (IT) service providers to supply IT maintenance, monitoring, and support services for the Municipality-s computing environment. The Municipality-s primary office is located at 6020 Highway 542, Mindemoya, Ontario with a fire hall locate at 6369 Highway 542, Mindemoya, Ontario and municipal works road shed located at 7 Lakeshore Road, Mindemoya, Ontario. The current IT environment consists of approximately: • 12 desktop workstations • 9 laptop computers • 1 digital sandbox discovery station • Network infrastructure and printers • Standard office productivity and municipal software As part of this contract, the successful proponent will also be responsible for assisting with the installation and configuration of a new municipal server environment. The Municipality anticipates that most services may be able to be provided remotely, with onsite visits when required. This position will function primarily as an on-call IT support service, with work performed as needed rather than through full-time onsite staffing.
