- 1.1 Background
Statistics Canada is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information on the availability in the marketplace of industry-specific research and executive advisory services, as well as role-based technical support spanning the CIO portfolio (includes Governing and managing enterprise-wide information, data, IT, cyber security, and service design and delivery).
1.2 Purpose
The purpose of this resource would be to provide robust research coverage across all Statistics Canada-relevant topics with substantial federal government-specific experience and a proven track record in assigning qualified industry experts to provide subject matter expertise for digital, data and information industry leaders.
1.3 Objectives of the RFI
This RFI is a market consultation document issued for the purposes of obtaining information to assist Statistics Canada in its procurement planning and is not intended to result in any contract awarded. This RFI is neither a call for tender nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). The issuing of this RFI is not to be considered in any way as authority to potential respondents to undertake any work that could be charged to Statistics Canada. This RFI is not to be considered as a commitment to issue a subsequent solicitation or award any contracts for the work described herein.
