All required supporting documentation and response submission must be submitted on August 13, 2021 by 2:00 pm EDT. The Government of Canada requires feedback from Point of Sale suppliers for a new National Point of Sale Software Solution (NPSSS) as a Software-as-a-Service Solution to be referred to as SaaS. Parks Canada Agency (PCA) receives more than 24 million person visits annually to Canada-s National Parks, National Historic sites, including Historic Canals, National Urban Parks and National Marine Conservation Areas by Canadians and international visitors. One of the key transaction points with visitors for PCA staff is at the Point of Sale (POS) , where visitors and tour operators may purchase entry passes, merchandise, service packages and rent a variety of equipment. The POS also acts as the point of contact with visitors where PCA may collect market data. The new National Point of Sale Software Solution (NPSSS) is required to replace the current Point of Sale Software Solution (Microsoft RMS) to meet PCA-s future business requirements.
