Request for Consultant Modernization Writer Services RFP# KS25-296P
Toronto District School Board (the “Board” or “TDSB”) is a public English school board operating in the City of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario. It is the largest school board in Canada and the fourth largest in North America. TDSB operates approximately 584 schools and provides educational services to approximately 246,000 students each year and employs approximately 40,000 full time employees. The workforce is largely unionized, with numerous bargaining units.
The Toronto District School Board is working to modernize and effectively utilize its administrative space based on current adaptive work standards. There are three large administrative buildings currently operated by the TDSB; 5050 Yonge Street (main board and Administrative office), 140 Boroughs (shared with the City of Toronto) and 1 Civic Centre that this project will focus on.
The Professional Services Provider shall start the project as soon as possible when the contract is awarded. The successful Professional Services Provider shall submit a project schedule to the Board immediately upon award of the Contract. Tender document design delivery by: TBD.
Hours of Work: Non-destructive work can be performed during regular hours. Any work effecting school operation shall be carried out after hours or on the weekend in accordance with the city by-law.
