Synopsis: This Request for Bid (RFB) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Courtroom Audio Equipment, as further described in the RFB Particulars (Appendix A). The Court Technology Unit (“CTU”) works within the Court Services Division of the Ministry of Justice and is responsible for providing support to Saskatchewan courts in the areas of videoconferencing, telephone conferencing, digital recording, and in-room sound systems. The GOS is seeking to procure Digital Signal Processors (DSP) to be used as the core of courtroom audio processing for recording court proceedings and reinforcing courtroom sound, as well as facilitating interactions between local and remote court participants. These DSPs will be installed into approximately 145 courtrooms as part of a three (3) year audio equipment upgrading project. In addition to these units, the Court Technology Unit is requesting pricing for additional related equipment and services which may be procured as part of the audio equipment upgrading project.
