- Provide and replace the counterweights of elevators 1, 2, 10 to 13 and 15 to 18, including their deviation pulleys, counterweight and compensation cables. Provide and replace pendant cables; Due to the wear of existing cables, their replacement is recommended to avoidFuture failures, particularly for elevators 10 to 13 and 15 to 18. Provide counterweight protectors, for elevators 11 to 13 and 15 to 18. Install removable partitions to isolate the work areas of elevators in maintenance, in order to guarantee the safety of usersAnd avoid any interference with the exploitation of other elevators ensure that all changes, including replacement of counterweights and suspension cables, are properly documented in the maintenance control program (PCE) of each elevator concerned, in accordanceto the requirements of the CSA B44-19 code (section 8.6.1.4.1 (b)).
