Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with FOREMAN EQUIPMENT LTD. for the repair and mid-life rebuild of KOMPTECH CRAMBO 6000 Organic Waste Shredder.
DESCRIPTION/SCOPE AND REASON FOR DIRECT AWARD:
This unit will be used for the Vancouver Landfill (“VLF”) compost. The Shredder grinds wood waste chips in preparation for composting.
The contracted vendor MUST meet the following Specificatoins: Repair the KOMPTECH CRAMBO 6000 Organic Waste Shredder to pre-damage operating capacityRebuild the Planetary Gear and Motors and install new Hydraulic Hoses Rebuild CAT 7.1 Engine including Diesel Exhaust Fluid System

FOREMAN EQUIPMENT LTD. is the only authorized dealer of Komptech machines in British Columbia and has facilities to provide local maintenance and repair support.Anyone wishing to request more information and/or has any questions with regard to this NOITC may use the Q&A Board to do so prior to the closing date and time.The Contract is valued at approximately $400,000.00 (excl. PST & GST)
