Description:
EQUANS is requesting proposals for the transport and installation of the Sir Arthur Doughty Statue at Library and Archives Canada. Site location is 625 Boulevard du Carrefour Gatineau Quebec. Landscaping elements involve excavation, concrete reinforcement, and installation of a new asphalt pathway connection the statue to the existing ring pathway. Specifications and drawings have been included as part of this tender. Engineer of record is Lashley & Associates. The safe transport and lift of the newly restored statue is a key aspect of this project and a work plan detailing this process will be required before mobilization.Background Information: The Sir Arthur Doughty statue is currently located at Heritage Grade, 2280 Stevenage Drive Ottawa Ontario following its recent restoration.
