- The Municipal Joint Services Board (MJSB), Lunenburg Region is an inter-municipal corporation created in 2013 to promote regional collaboration. On behalf of the entities below, MJSB is accepting proposals from qualified insurance brokers and insurers to procure and provide a general insurance program, as well as provide insurance-related services for the following entities, all of which are collectively referred to in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) as the “Participating Units”: • Municipal Joint Services Board, Lunenburg Region • Municipality of the District of Lunenburg • Town of Bridgewater • Town of Mahone Bay • Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre • District of Lunenburg Fire Departments. Proponents should read the RFP carefully and thoroughly to understand all terms and conditions. The Participating Units are seeking to enter into new insurance contracts effective April 1, 2025. MJSB is issuing this RFP on behalf of all and each of these entities. This RFP seeks a qualified Insurance Broker to provide a general insurance program and insurable risk advisory services to the Participating Units. A proponent is expected to have the ability and expertise to do so.
