- Tender are invited for Red Tape Reduction Program - Digital Seals for Authentication of Engineering and Architecture Documents
Project Description : Starting February 2021, Alberta Infrastructure will allow digital seals to authenticate engineering and architecture documents being submitted by Consultants. Digitally sealed documents will be the preference for submissions going forward in an effort to increase efficiencies, and will be required effective January 1, 2022 as part of the Government of Alberta-s overall Red Tape Reduction efforts. This initiative will reduce red tape by reducing the need for paper-based documents, the use of couriers for these documents, and improve timelines through the electronic delivery of digitally sealed and delivered documents.Alberta Infrastructure-s Procurement documents will be updated to reflect these changes in February 2021, and will provide further details about these requirements.
