- TOWN OF WHITEWOOD RECREATION PARK CONTRACT A - AREA GRADING Tenders are invited from General Contractors for the Construction of a Recreation Park for the Town of Whitewood. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 10:00 a.m., C.S.T. Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 and will be opened immediately thereafter. The work includes: 1. Miscellaneous site preparation, including clearing and grubbing, and topsoil removal; 2. Construction of a running truck, baseball diamonds, and a toboggan area using excess material, with approximately 75,000 m3 of earthwork; 3. Construction of roadways to subgrade, imported fill, granular surfacing, 600 mm culverts, topsoil replacement and seeding in ditches; 4. Provision of access for ingress and egress to the locations of all work required; 5. Clean-up of site; 6. Repair of defects in workmanship and/ or materials for a period of one year after completion of the work.
