Description:
The objective of this project, which is the first of a two-phase project, is to facilitate engagement with local Mi-kmaq leadership, as well as City staff, in a collaborative process to define the project-s scope and chart a clear path forward for Phase II, which will be the development of the City-s first Reconciliation Roadmap. Phase II, or the development of the final Reconciliation Roadmap, is not included in the scope of this RFP. The Reconciliation Roadmap will provide a long-term framework and strategy for moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities on the pathway toward Reconciliation. The City of Charlottetown is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or firms that: are Indigenous-owned; employ Indigenous community members; or can demonstrate previous impact in building partnership or collaboration plans with Mi-kmaq, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit organizations.
