Summary DetailsThe District of Summerland (the “District”) is seeking prospective Respondents to submit non-binding Proposals for the provision of real estate brokerage services for large commercial opportunities.

The District makes a variety of real estate transactions annually and will be looking at making strategic acquisitions and dispositions over the next several years. The District would like to have a real estate company under contract to draw on during any purchases or sales when assistance from a licensed realtor is deemed beneficial. A contract with predetermined commission terms will allow the District to act in a timely manner when pursuing or disposing of properties.

The Supplier will be required to perform the services of a real estate broker acting on behalf of the District on an as-needed basis.

The services will generally be related to large commercial opportunities, typically for properties valued at greater than $1,000,000, or where the target audience extends beyond the local or regional market. These opportunities may include, but are not limited to, opportunities that are commercial, industrial, agricultural, or resource-based in nature, and may also include residential and/or mixed use development opportunities. An opportunity may consist of one lot or multiple lots. If an opportunity consists of multiple lots, the total expected value of all lots will be used to determine the value of the opportunity but the value of the resulting...
